The Youth Jazz Collective

The Youth Jazz Collective is a movement to gather young talent from the area that can continue the legacy of Jazz. This young group or “Collective”, which will be mentored by seasoned artist, along with our new Artist in Residence - Greg Osby, will be the primary band (along with guest artists) for the monthly Jazz on Market Street event, and also will be the thread that connects IDEA to The Chicken Bone Beach Historical Foundation Inc. Every summer, they sponsor a 7 to 9 week free Jazz Concert series on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.  Moving forward, we will be recruiting and auditioning talented young artists to be part of the collective.  If you know of any youth jazz singers or youth musicians who are proficient with an instrument and is interested, please have them drop us a message!
